Multiple agencies working together made a couple of significant drug buses at the end of last week.

Last Thursday, LaSalle County Deputies served 21-year-old Nicholas Panicucci of Oglesby with an arrest warrant for one count of Unlawful delivery of LSD, a Class-2 Felony. Officials say Panicucci delivered a substance containing LSD to TRIDENT agents. He's being held on a half-a-million-dollars bond. Sheriff's Deputies served Panicucci at the county jail, where he was already being held on a domestic-battery charge.

On Friday, Spring Valley Police arrested 63-year-old John Hemphill of Spring Valley in the 400 Block of East St. Paul Street. They got him on a felony arrest warrant for one count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Cocaine. That's a Class-2 Felony. According to law enforcement, Hemphill delivered crack cocaine to TRIDENT agents. He was taken to the La Salle County Jail, where he, too, is being held on a half-a-million-dollars bond.
