There's another member of the million-dollar-bond club in the La Salle County lockup, thanks to the TRIDENT Drug Task Force, the sheriff's office and the State's Attorney's office.
Yesterday (Tuesday), the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Cody Willet of Ottawa. Willet was picked up in the 1100 block of West Main Street in Ottawa on a felony arrest warrant for two counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. That's a Class-1 felony.
A TRIDENT investigation led to the arrest, with a warrant from the La Salle County State's Attorney's Office. During the investigation, undercover officers bought cocaine and heroin/fentanyl from Willet.
Willet's locked up in the La Salle County Jail on a million dollars' bond. He needs a hundred thousand to get out.
