An Oglesby man landed in La Salle County Jail with a million dollar bond after an arrest set up by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (TRI-DENT).
A little after 10 Wednesday night, Daniel S. Margis, 36, was picked up at his home on the 100 block of Walnut St. in Oglesby on a La Salle County felony arrest warrant for three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance – heroin.
TRI-DENT said the arrest warrant was issued following a several month investigation into heroin sales in Oglesby. During the investigation, Margis delivered more than one gram of heroin to the drug task force in two controlled purchases and less than a gram on a third purchase.
Margis was taken to the La Salle County Jail, where he was held on a 1 million dollar bond.
