It was only six persons strong; but, an occasional car horn indicated mutual support. Late Thursday, Pete Bastounes of Morris and others stood in front of Ottawa's Central Life Building. Many raised signs, but all questioned President Donald Trump's recent actions in Iran and the possibility of war.
Bastounes said he doesn't see the situation as a viable threat; if it were, then everybody should step up. He sees Trump continuing, what he called. an U.S. tradition of exploiting countries. He added that Trump isn't well versed in diplomacy.
The protest was organized by “Indivisible”, formed nationwide after the election of President Donald Trump.
