Governor JB Pritzker at his daily COVID-19 press conference on Tuesday announced some steps the state is taking to ease financial burdens during the outbreak.

The state announced a $90 million package of emergency assistance programs for small businesses that need additional capital. He also unveiled a $60 million fund to support low-interest loans of up to $50,000  for small businesses outside Chicago. Businesses with fewer than 50 employees and less than three million dollars in revenue last year are eligible to apply by the March 27th deadline.
