It’s off to prison for a Marseilles man who admits to driving drunk in a crash that killed a mom and her unborn child.
Twenty-five-year-old Jacob Kaminski as part of a plea deal was given eight years in prison for aggravated driving under the influence causing a death. He was also given four years for reckless homicide. Kaminski will be allowed to serve the sentences at the same time in prison.
Back on June 30th of 2017, Kaminski crashed into the car of 27-year-old Alexis Danley of Shorewood near Minooka. Danley was pronounced dead at the scene and was five months pregnant at the time of the crash.
Kaminski has to serve at least 85 percent of his eight year prison sentence.
