Here’s a trend that hopefully continues.  La Salle County saw more people recover from COVID-19 than were diagnosed with the virus from Monday into Tuesday.

  Bureau County is dealing with another seven confirmed cases of COVID-19. As of Sunday,  testing revealed the following case load:  a female child, two females in their teens,  one man each in his 40’s and 60’s and one female each in their 40’s and 70’s.

   Two 16 year old males are facing various charges regarding damage done to the turf at Howard Fellows Stadium Saturday. One is from Peru and the other from La Salle.  Both are charged with criminal damage to state supported property, criminal trespass to property and unlawful use of weapons.

   A 47-year old La Salle woman was killed Friday in a six car collision and fire between Ottawa and Utica. The accident also claimed the life of a 43-yaer old Joliet man and injured a 55-year old Naplate woman, Debra Herkes. She went to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
