It appears a new trend for small businesses at least is to be up front about employees testing positive for the coronavirus.
The latest message came Monday evening from the Root Beer Stand in Oglesby where owners say an employee tested positive for COVID-19 late last week but hasn’t been at the restaurant since July 3rd. The statement mentions no plans to close.
Back on Saturday the Igloo Diner in Peru closed after announcing an employee had tested positive. Jack’s Tap in Spring Valley closed Monday when an employee came down with the virus while the Red Dog Grill in Ottawa closed last Wednesday until further notice after one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19.
