As expected, the LaSalle City Council Monday night approved a new Director of Economic Development. Leah Inman, lately of the Planning Commission, assumes the role that had belonged to Katherine Koyak. Koyak will take over the newly-created position of Deputy Clerk and Director of PR and Community Development. She’ll also help City Clerk Carrie Brown with such things as Freedom of Information Act requests.
In welcoming Inman, an enthusiastic Mayor Jeff Grove referred to the new lineup as a “dream team.”
The council also granted raffle licenses to a handful of nonprofits in the city. And they contributed funds to Stage 212 for the theater group’s 2020 season.
