Add La Salle Elementary Schools to the list of schools moving to remote learning due to the pandemic.
In letter addressed to La Salle Elementary Parents and Guardians today (Wednesday) Superintendent Brian DeBernardi announced a move to a temporary remote learning schedule. There will be no school Friday for a remote planning teacher in-service day, and full remote learning will start Monday.
The school system expects in-person learning to resume December 7.
DeBernardi said quote: “We remain committed to providing a safe in-person learning environment for our students. Our goal is to get the students back in school as soon as possible. We will continue to work with the Illinois Department of Public Health and our local health agencies and look forward to the safe return of our students.”
