A grand jury has deemed there to be enough evidence to pursue charges against three men tied to a shooting in Peru.
Eighteen-year-old Mariano Verucchi of Peru along with 20-year-old Christopher and 21-year-old Quinton Biederstedt both of Mendota were indicted Tuesday by a La Salle County Grand Jury. Verucchi is charged with possessing a gun used in a November shooting at the Tou-Rest Motel which sent a woman to the hospital. The Biederstedt’s are charged with obstructing justice during the investigation.
All three men are out of jail after coming up with bond.
