Any outdoor work done in this weather is slow. Same goes in the search for an Ottawa woman on the Illinois River.
Forty-five-year old Tina Donovan went missing on the 13th. Conservation Officer Sgt. Phil Wire says ice on the river prevented searching on Tuesday. Conditions, however, improved late that day, so search crews are likely to be back out Wednesday. Wire says they'll be using different sonar while on the Illinois River. Personnel are searching from the middle of the channel to the shore between the dam and the boat ramp.
Investigators have said they located Donovan’s vehicle and some of her personal property at Starved Rock State Park.
