It doesn’t take having the real thing when it comes to getting in trouble for drugs.
Deputies paid a visit Wednesday night to the Mendota home of 33-year-old Edgar Phillips. He was arrested on a warrant for delivery of a “Look-a-Like Substance.” Phillips was allegedly selling fake cocaine.
He needs $3,000 to get out of the La Salle County Jail. To add to his troubles, Phillips is also wanted out of another county for violating probation.
