The new year has meant sleeping in jail for a Marseilles man.
Thirty-year-old Joshua Sampson was booked on New Year's Day for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. He's accused of dealing cocaine to members of the Trident Drug Task Force back in May in La Salle County.
Sampson needs $50,000 to bond out. His criminal record in La Salle County includes a 2017 felony conviction for aggravated fleeing from police.
