A car and foot chase ensued Monday morning through the streets of La Salle.
At around 8:30, officers tried chasing down 21-year-old Natalie Negray and her vehicle on St. Vincent Avenue. She allegedly didn’t stop and the pursuit continued to Raccuglia Drive where she’s accused of running into a storage warehouse. It was there where Negray was taken into custody without further trouble.
She was arrested for aggravated fleeing and eluding along with obstructing identification, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident. Negray was also wanted on a warrant out of Will County for skipping court on a charge of obstructing a peace officer.
She’s jailed in Ottawa needing $500 to bond out. Negray is due back in court August 1st for arraignment. Her current address is La Salle but she has previously lived in Streator.
