The head of an Ottawa construction company is facing claims he scammed a client.
Starting June 14th, Ottawa Police started looking into an alleged home repair fraud that happened on the east side of town. After interviews and inspecting the job site, it was determined a construction job was supposed to start and finish in 2018. The job though isn’t done despite full payment being made.
On Friday a warrant was issued for 64-year-old Ronald Larabee from Larabee Builders in Ottawa. He’s charged with aggravated home repair fraud and theft by deception of more than $500. Larabee turned himself in and quickly came up with the thousand dollars needed for bond.
