It’s bad enough drinking and driving. A Spring Valley man is accused of doing that with two children riding along.
Officers were called Wednesday afternoon about a SUV that went off Marquette Road in Spring Valley and hit a culvert. Forty-one-year-old Jason Novero says he lost control after moving over to allow another driver to pass him.
Officers though say Novero was driving with a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit. He was arrested for DUI and endangering the health of a child. Two children were riding with Novero. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Novero posted bond and was released from custody.
