When you drive past a radar speed sign that flashes to slow down, does it get your attention? Leaders in Dalzell hope signage like this will have an impact at stop intersections.
The Dalzell Village Board Wednesday approved the purchase of two LED stop signs. They will be used around town. Police Chief Mark Manicki says to contact him if you live near an intersection that could benefit by having these lit up stop signs.
With brightness of the signs in mind, they come with optional “sign blinders” which can minimize the amount of light shining towards homes.
