The Peru Police had an interesting one on their hands Tuesday night.
Twenty-six-year-old Darnell Williams, a LaSalle man well-known to police, went to Unytite to confront an ex-girlfriend who works there.
He then jumped into her car and drove erratically throughout the parking lot, punctured all of her tires and left in his own vehicle.
Police caught up with Williams at his home in LaSalle and charged him with disorderly conduct, reckless driving, and assault.
Williams was released with a notice to appear.
