The former LaSalle County Deputy who faces 11 felony charges stemming from a crime spree that ended in a standoff back on October 5th has pled not guilty to some of those charges.
Forty-six year old Lowell “Max” Ambler was in a Lee County Courtroom on Monday where his lawyer entered that plea to the seven charges he faces in that county. Those include home invasion, aggravated kidnapping, unlawful restraint, and trespassing.
Over in Will County, Ambler faces charges including armed robbery, robbery of a victim over the age of 60 and possession of a stolen vehicle. Ambler went on the run after allegedly violating an order of protection against a woman he was supposed to stay away from.
