An Earlville man who was arrested for allegedly selling cocaine has pleaded “not guilty” to the charge.
Fifty-four year old Danny Helton was in court Thursday with his lawyer where he entered the plea. According to police, Helton was arrested after a stop in La Salle involving officers from Earlville, La Salle and members of the TRI-Dent task.
He remains in the LaSalle County Jail where he’d need to come up with $100,000 to be released. His next court date was set for October 4th.
