A Chicago woman will be spending some time in the Illinois Valley after her arrest on drug charges. Ottawa Police arrested 36-year old Lauren Chilson Thursday after a car she was riding in was pulled over.
According to prosecutors a drug dog led police to search the car where they found drug paraphernalia. They then would search Chilson who allegedly had heroin in her possession.
She was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and taken to the LaSalle County Jail. Her bond was set at $1 million. Her next court date was set for August 17th.
